So you want to start a BJJ Specific Strength and Conditioning Program. Where do you begin?
Go to the gym and do bunch of biceps curls? sure something is better than nothing at all. What about those people who profess that if you want to build up your BJJ cardio just do more rolling… that great in theory but in actuality your body will start to break down if you are not resting and building up your “Suit of Armor” your pushing, pulling and posterior chain body strength.
You may have all the best Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu technique and knowledge in the world but at some point the the competitor who has the best conditioning and more strength will win out.
That is one of the reasons why you see middle age purple belts struggle with younger white belts is due stamina and strength deficits.
Now you know you want to get STRONGER.. but how?

In layman terms: Borg Rating of Perceived Exertion
The Borg Rating of Perceived Exertion (RPE) is a way of measuring physical activity intensity level. Perceived exertion is how hard you feel like your body is working.
There will be information and demo video on how to do each exercise.
